Community v2: Ready, Set, Go.

One month ago Voltz “Community v2” was announced, which moved the Voltz Community on-chain by letting community members earn Soul-Bound-Tokens through activity on the protocol and contributions to the community. The first season of trading is already in full swing and traders are hunting for top-tier badges. Today, Voltz is taking the next step towards a fully on-chain community with the introduction of the highly anticipated:

• OG badges
• Community contribution badges
• Reward-based referrer program

Once OG, always OG.

Voltz Protocol went live on mainnet on the 1st of June 2022. If you were one of the early users, trading or providing liquidity before the 30th of September, kudos to you Ser, you are an OG! 

Special kinds of badges are awarded for this season and will never be released again. These follow the same rules as for Season 1 badges but with a golden touch. They vary from tier 1 to legendary, recognising different levels of difficulty. Each badge represents an achievement as a user of Voltz Protocol.

You are now able to find these badges on your profile and collect the well-deserved merits in your wallet.

Once claimed, these SBTs will forever be linked to your wallet verifying your pure awesomeness. 

For all super-active traders out there, we hear you, we know gas hurts! 

To make claiming feasible for those with hefty collections, the SBT contract implements a batch minting functionality. By clicking CLAIM ALL, your entire stash of badges for this particular season will be minted and linked to your address at the same time, saving quite a bit on gas costs.

Community is what keeps Voltz alive

Voltz community is not only formed of protocol users. Contributions come in many shapes and forms, from writing content and being active on Discord to integrating with the protocol itself. 

Community badges are awarded based on off-chain activity but claimable on-chain such that contributions are never forgotten.

The following badges are available each season:

Tier 3: Senatorz:

• Previously called Amplifierz
• Senatorz work as an extension of Voltz team
• There will only be 10 Senatorz per Season
• Senatorz will receive a unique legendary SBT per Season

Tier 2: Diplomatz: 

• Diplomatz will help Senatorz run other language channels
• Diplomatz will receive a unique SBT
• Diplomatz must already have a Governorz SBT (see below) to qualify for a Diplomatz role

Tier 1: Governorz:

• Active community members, producing high-quality content

Our community keeps growing because of… well… the community!! Members who spread their passion for Voltz deserve to be recognised. Their role is now official Voltz Referroorz.

With this update, there’s a new referral program. Referral achievements are continuous and efforts propagate over seasons. Referroorz will earn dazzling referrer badges based on [redacted].

To become a Referroor, you’ll need to go to your profile page where you’ll see a personalized Voltz link to share with your peers. Once someone connects their wallet and signs the Terms and Conditions using that link, they are automatically linked to you as your referee.

There are 3 referroor statuses that our community can gain:

• Tier 1 Referroor: you referred a new user who does a trade larger than [redacted].
• Tier 2 Notional Influencer: you're a full-on influencer gathering more than [redacted] new users to the protocol each doing trades of over [redacted].
• Tier 3 Whale whisperer: [redacted] of your whales did a trade larger than [redacted].
